Fairwinds Credit Union, based in Orlando, to add 8 branch units in $25M expansion

The credit union, which opened 7 branches in Central Florida last year, wants to open 8 more. Orlando -based Fairwinds Credit Union rolled out a $25 million expansion plan Thursday that is expected to add eight branches across Central Florida this year and extend the financial institution's footprint by more than 20 percent.
